She is the daughter of the late American Painters
Will Barnet and Mary Sinclair.
She has published 7 books and 5 chapbooks. She has two Pushcart nominations and a nomination
for the Nobel Prize for her poetry. Two of her books are monographs of the most well-known Haikuists, an artform for which she herself has been an award winner.
